Lithium Ion batteries typically last 2 to 3 years. Does anyone know what is the cost to send this camera to a service center and get the battery replaced? I contacted one seller and they said you just have to replace the camera.

I heard back from Paralenz and they said - "At the moment, we don't have an official procedure for exchanging batteries, as the product is not very old and the battery should approximately hold 10000 charges, but if the battery goes under the limit of ~3 hrs of 1080p 30fps at room temperature within the warranty period, we'll exchange the battery free of charge."

In the US the warranty period is one year.

Hopefully enough people will request an extended service policy for the battery that Paralenz offers this repair. In the meantime buyer beware.
