I screwed up and didn't check the battery before my trip. I tried Scuba Price but they said they couldn't do it. Any other Scubapro dealers on the island??

I just looked in the manual and the Mantis battery looks like a very easy battery to change. It uses a common CR2032 battery which should be available at Chedraui or Mega, if not try the Fuji camera shop on 30th in the strip mall next to Burger king or go by Tres Pelicanos (I think I grabbed a strip of 2032's thinking they were 2450's and left them at the shop, there may be some laying around, ask Pony)
If you do not wish to pop the cap off the back and change it yourself I would suggest taking it up to Javier at Cozumel Scuba repair and he should be able to change it for you.

Takes a CR2032 which is pretty common - there is a dive repair shop on the island that replaced my CR2430 in my Oceanic VTPRO a few years ago: Cozumel Scuba Repair.

They are way back in the hood though. Hard to get there by taxi if you no speak spanish. Your dive op might be able to replace it for you or facilitate it?

Also Chedrui or Mega may have the battery. If you can find a screwdriver to replace you can do it yourself:

I should have been more clear in my original post. I have the battery but need a gasket and a tool to remove the cover-already tried a few ideas with no luck. I messaged javier and will try and go see him tomorrow. Thanks for the help.

The O-ring should be reusable if not deformed, which would be noticeable on inspection (pinched and flattened on the previous install). The tool is a pin spanner (or fine needle nose plier points).
Once again I recommend taking it up to Javier at CSR. I see by the May calendar you are diving with 3P, speak with Pony in the AM and he may be able to check with Javier.
