Mine is dropping no where near 1V/month. More like 0.1V/month

Interesting. What voltage range is that?

Like I said, mine is just one data point. And I have really been wondering if the self-discharge would slow at lower voltage levels.

My cells are brand new ones purchased whenever I got the scooter (earlier this year?). I got the exact ones Jon recommended. They have only been fully charged 2 or 3 times and they dropped to 2.5V - 2.7V once, just in the last month which was when I sent it all to Jon. My point: I think my cells are very healthy and should not be dropping at an unusually fast rate.

I'm not sure what the percent means, or if it's even useful. Actually, I think mine was reporting 99% even when the voltage had dropped from 67 to 62V. It seems like I read in another thread that the percent doesn't update when it's just doing self-discharge. The percent only updates when you're actually running it. Thus why I think Jon has posted that we should pay attention to volts, not SOC (state of charge - i.e. %).

Is it an X.1 or X.2? And do you know what the actual voltage is?
 
You're sitting at around 4.05v per cell?
Self discharge should be lower at a storage voltage of ~3.8v per cell which is considered the right long term voltage to store lithium ion.

I double checked and you're right, the percentage doesnt record the storage losses. I was at about 3.5V though - after months and months of sitting in the garage. I am not sure how fast mine is self discharging anymore

Thanks for getting back to me on that. You had me starting to worry that my scooter wasn't as "fixed" as I thought it was. lol
