Hi,

I live in Philadelphia and am looking for a nearby place to do a Basic Open Water Certification course over the Labor Day weekend. Does anyone have any recommendations?

Nearby=anywhere within reach of a quick plane/train ride.

oh, and the cheaper the better (without sacrificing quality of course :)

Thanks!
Esther

I don't think you'll do any course fast here in NE. There is always problems getting the course finished due to ocean conditions and scheduling etc. The only solution I can suggest is to get your certification at a resort were they can be done fast. But I'm sure if you keep looking, there is a fast course most likely inland were they do open waters in the lakes instead of ocean.

Good Luck

I am not sure if you will find a group class that quick in the area.... however, many shops will do private one on one classes where you could arrange the schedule according to your needs. The downside of this is that you will pay quite a bit more money.
