The fins themselves appear to be derivative designs. Of course this was an era when an "ROC" stamp on a product generally meant you were getting a cheap knockoff.

Indeed. There were one or two original ROC designs, e.g.

There are many more basic diving equipment manufacturers and products to explore, but I need to do much more research on them to process my findings in a reportable form. In the meantime, I intend to share what I have found out about the state of play in the Republic of Korea, returning later to Taiwan.
