Scuba used to indirectly get me in before I was 21.

The club near where my buddy's boat (okay, his parents' boat) was docked used these little self-inking stampers that you can still buy in the toy department... some have smiley faces, some have flowers... the club used a simple (black) circle.

This circle just happened to be the same size as a tank O-ring.

We'd "paint" an O-ring with a magic marker and stamp our own hands, then walk into the club under re-entry through one of the back doors (they were always open, with a bouncer at each door... they left them open for easy re-entry and better air circulation).
Anyways, we very quickly got on a first-name basis with ALL of the club employees, and within two months, we were pretty much VIP... in the front door, us and anyone with us, no cover charge and no ID check, unless one of our dates looked young and they might then check.

Spent 3 years partying at that club, and 2 weeks before my buddy's 21st, his girlfriend told the head bouncer that he was only 19. They thought she was FOS, but still started to pressure him for ID. "Oh, I left it on the boat, I'll bring it tomorrow"... that worked twice, but it got too uncomfortable, so we went elsewhere until his birthday.

dandydon once bubbled...
Let's see, you're 15, and they sent you cards saying your 25? Will that get you into a bar there...? I used mine to get in again tonight...

don

I was actually 13 at that time and on the back it said "Junior Open Water Diver must dive with Certified Adult" :)

Turned out there was a "computer error"

Haven't used it for anything yet except to entertain dive buddies and friends
