It was not possible to post a video in the Photo Gallery in the other Bait Ball thread, so I put our little Bait Ball clip into Photobucket. This clip was shot at Bari Reef on 4/28 at dawn on our last dive of the trip (sniff). The bait ball was always waiting for us at the dock. First time we came back from our orientation dive, we were kind of confused that we had to dive through it!

Anyhow, this is the first ever video my buddy shot with new camera. Photobucket compressed the file a bit, so it’s not as sharp but maybe it will help some of the PBD victims :)

I was at Buddy The following week and one morning I got up for a daybreak Skin-Dive from the dock. Right on schedule it was really cool to see all of the fish come welling up from the depths as I swam along the edge of the drop-off.

Thanks for posting the Video.

Pete

great video....was on the same reef the week before as well...it was wild to see the pelicans dive-bomb into the bait as well.

We were following the pelican show too. They had too easy time for snacks!

For the video, it would have been a bit nicer if it came out as we planned. Buddy panned it out as we rose the last few feet in the water, and 'took' 360 degree panorama of the sunrise around the docks upon surfacing. Well - filmed and filmed - as I said it was first time with the camera, heh. All we have from the 'panorama' is a crooked close-up of my face eagerly stating that I found "a cute little blenny" on the steps :D
