Hey there Themm,

Thaks for your reply. Could you please elaborate a bit on why you like this suit so much? I have never used a crushed neoprene suit before, and am trying to decide between the Bares xcd2 and the Bares ATR HD or light. What would I want to consider when deciding between a crushed neoprene and a trilam?

Thanks!!!

:)

Tommy

The main reason i bought my ATR HD over the XCD2 is because crushed neo takes forever to dry. My HD dries in about 15 min except for the neoprene booties. My HD folds up nice and compact and when its dry in 15 min i put in the car and dont have to worry about water getting every where or stinky neoprene. I can do a night dive and it will be dry for the next morning and not all wet and clammy feeling. Other than the cheesy pocket on the XCD2 it looks like a great suit.

you are rigth as far of drying time the xcd2 take 24 hour to dry but if you dive in cold water it is mutch warmer than a trilam. And on top it is very confortable. one last thing I am diving with the xcd3 2 to 3 time per week and I never have notice any bolluncie problem or change

I'm not sure how it is you can make an empirical statement like this without considering the underwear you wear with both suits. Trilam has zero insulating properties so whether this ends up being warmer or colder than anything else would depend on what you wear with it, would it not?
