I find it funny that even locals involved in the dive industry will sometimes say that Barbados is a great island to visit with great diving but do not think of it as a dive destination. Divers on the other hand have come here and said they love the diving and come to the island just for that reason, the rest of the place is a big plus. I also know that there are many return divers that plan to continue to come back as the reefs are very healthy and colourful with an amazing array of fish as long as you don't expect to see the big ones, sharks dolphins or whales although whales did show up last March and stayed for a few months.
Asta is a nice reef at about forty five to sixty five feet, The Boot is sixty to seventy, G-spot same, Old fort is nice at forty to fifty five, max depth in Carlisle Bay is fifty five,
