and Doritos.

I had a diver (DM by the way) pop up like a cork from the hang line (line in hand) (after a 100+ foot dive) and proceed to throw up a frothy red foam all over my platform while not responding to my repeated attempts to question him.

It turned out not to be an embolism, but I am banning all red food and drinks from the boat.

Then he proceeded to tell me that my hang line is not weighted enough, on most boats it is heavy enough to "hold him down".

He was diving an AL100, and it had 300psi and he BC was full of air.

All is well that ends well, but I don't think he will be back on Tortuga.

So it was your fault? LOL...

I banned Doritos a long time ago. 1 week someone had left a bag on my boat. The following week a friend and I were out doing a little fishing. My buddy grabbed the Doritos and took one. he found it was stale so he stopped eating them. When we left that spot to find another he forgot them on the gunwales and a few flew over before he could grab the bag. After about an hour and some searching we decided the first spot was the best and proceeded to return. When we arrived, we found a huge oil stain in the water. At first I thought a pod of bunker had been massacred. Then I was struck by the color. Only when we got close and saw the Doritos in the middle did we realize what happened.
Those things are nasty and can be used to flatten a rough sea with all their oil!

The only thing I ever banned from the boat was booze and chewing gum.

well, in actuality the only thing I ban is drugs and hard liquor. But I wont be eating any doritos for sure! On the boat or at home!
