Hey everyone. Started writing on the board just recently, though I have been registered for a long time... and reading a lot on the tech forums.
Learned to dive in cold North American lake waters, then a few years later did my first dives in warm waters and I have not been the same ever since. SEA is my favourite playground, especially the Coral Triangle. Dived all over Thailand, many many places in Philippines, some in Malaysia and lots too in Indonesia, with just a bit in Vietnam. Added Japan at some point too and now I do a yearly pilgrimage to Mikomoto!
One day I decided to do my DM but freaked out the course director asking "when do we learn about deco?"... So I went the tech pathway with great happiness. Moved up the ladder with more training of various rec + tech sorts and definitely I want to continue diving till I die (but not die diving!).
I also did a hyperbarics chamber course because it fits with my field of expertise and ... it's fun!
At some point I moved to Bangkok (BKK) temporarily (work) but this became permanent...
