Bali vs Khao Lak in December?

Do folks feel Bali or Khao Lak would offer the better diving experience over 3 days in early December this year?

I'm still um-ing & ah-ing about our choices in SE Asia!

Sorry ... December is beginning of rainy season in Bali and prime season the Similans .. sorry i got my months confused for a moment ..... sigh ....

Khao Lak will be in rainy season in December ... go for Bali or Malaysia

East coast of Malaysia is also rainy and most resorts are closed. Unless you meant Sipadan which is diveable all-year-round.

I actually dived in Menjangan Island (Bali) in December and it was fantastic. Great viz.

I'll do Khao Lak as its near the Similan Islands.End of Oct is end of raining season in Khao Lak .Can even do day trips or liveaboard for a nite or two.Contact Sunrise Divers,and they'll hook you up.
