I think there's more diving variety at Padang Bai than at Tulamben - ? Anybody?

Comparing apples and oranges.
What you find in Tulamben is not in Padang Bai and inversely.

He who dived Tulamben only from Padang Bai never really dived Tulamben.

Hi, staying in Padang Bai this July for 10-days, diving with Absolute Scuba. I'm looking for a relaxed diving schedule to include Tulamben. Has anyone dived with Absolute Divers? Best dive sites? Any advice would be welcomed!
Thanks! Fin Bob

I have dived with Absolute Scuba on several occasions. They are really good , organized , friendly , have great local guides, comfy clean boats with excellent service. The sites around PB are all good, the Jetty is excellent , Gili M and T and Biahia are very good and of course the wonderful Crystal Bay and Manta Point are only 45 minutes away on a big boat. So are Blue Lagoon and White Sand. They will take you to Tulamben too if you wish. The locals sites and Crystal Bay should have molas in July, you are spending long enough to give yourself a very high chance of seeing them.

+1

Agree completely with tippytoes12's.
