Bainbridge Hotel/Motel

Next wekend we are going for our check out dives. Our shop recommened 3 Motels in the area... but seeing that I haven't been to the area I figured I'd ask you guys where to stay. I don't like the idea of being close to the railroad tracks.... I want to sleep soundly lol... can ya blam me? :blinking:


I also hate staying in bad motels.... so something sort of nice.... we don't mind driving a bit... but want to stay fairly close....

Any ideas?

Hmmmmm... what were the suggestions? I've never actually spent the night up there so I don't know how much help I could be, but maybe if we knew where they told you and get an address we could possibly let you know where they are in relation to the quarry. You could stay in York which is only about 15mins west of bainbridge. Probably a better selection.

I read a previous post about the Blue Note.... and one person said thy wouldn't take their family there.... if someone won't take thier family there I don't want to stay there

Sorry, don't know where these are so I'll be no help. Although, there are lots of places I wouldn't necessarily take my family that I'd go

EDIT: I posted this question on another board for NE DIR divers. If someone answers, I'll be happy to let you know. Or you can go there and look around.

I just thought I would post where we ended up staying.

We ended up staying at the Blue Note.

I must say I was very happy that we ended upstaying there....

It is not a motel that I would take my family..... BUT it is CLEAN! I was fearfull of cockroaches !!!! I saw none ! It's also very close to Bainbridge.... so it was very nice to be so close to the dive site. It was much better than all the other surrounding motels ( at least from the outside )

I grew up around the area of Bainbridge and would not recommend the Blue Note if you are coming off of route 30 you may want to stay at a few more exits east of the Columbia (441) exit , I would say that it is about 3-4 miles. It is at the exit on the left side. I think it is a Sleep Inn.
