Hi to all,

Just looking to find a last min deal out to the bahamas to dive with stuart cove as I love all things to do with sharks, finding some really nice hotels though on andros island opposite nassau and im just wondering if staying on there and travelling across the 35 miles to nassau a couple of times during the week to dive with stuart cove is a viable option/how much it might cost in boats etc..?

Many Thanks

Andy

Hi Andy,
Nassau is old and a bit run down, but to travel back and forth costs would be high, and not work with your dive times, but Small Hope Bay has some world class diving on Andros Island

and is much more laid back and relaxing IMO its a real Bahama out Island,
Dive safe,

Based on recent personal experience or what?

As has been said, travelling between the two is not really feasible, but Small Hope Bay is a nice, small resort and has a great dive team. I have dived and stayed with them twice in the past few years and can't wait to go back – a real Bahamian welcome.

You have awesome wall dives, some nice coral gardens, a shark dive (with chumsickle) and some out-there 'speciality' dives...

Personal,
Highly recommend Small Hope bay and its staff,Also We have friends-"Conky Joe's" that are on Island, and do dive and play on other out islands not as much as we would like to with the new customs tax for boats but,,
