Today I found myself screaming at the radio. There was a report on Public Radio about the Miskito Indians that dive for lobsters in Nicaragua. The reporter was kind enough to explain to the listeners that the bends were "temporary blood clots" and the chamber was used to "shake them out".
It is amazing how much bad information comes from reporters. You would think he could at least get that part correct because it was explained in another story that aired on Public radio about the same subject just 6 months ago.
I was going crazy and yelling that I would no longer be a NPR supporter if my money was going to crappy (cleaned up a little) reporting.
