Anyone else ever see black like encroachments in the upper right and lower left corners of your video when using this lens? Anyway to eliminate?

Possibly the sun shade built into the lens body. You want to make sure when the lens is mounted that the "blades" are vertical...that is the narrow side of the image.

You’re running too wide of an angle on your GoPro- the corners of the sensor are picking up the inside bezel of the lense, which is just a black piece of metal. If you go with a narrower angle you’ll also be able to switch on all of the enhanced image stabilization that’s not available when running the widest angle and you’ll never see the black corners.

I use this lens as well and never had that problem.

I follow the GoPro settings recommendations from Backscatter and it is perfect.
