Backscatter Hero3 Package

Has anyone used backscatter's set up for the hero3 black? I was looking at purchasing it and wanted to know if it is worth the money.

I just ordered a Hero3 as well and am hoping someone will answer you. i really don't want one of the cheap film inserts. The Backscatter looks decent, but hopefully someone will have experience with it.

I believe Marty and a few others have video shot with the Backscatter and SNP filter posted on the web.

The backscatter package for hero3 has a redisigned filter (that look pretty much a full cto and less red than the previous) but also has a 55mm thread that allows other filter and an announced macro lens to be attached
Now doing macro with a camera that does not have optical zoom is a bit of a dream but there you go
