I'm a 67-year-old retiree who quit diving 20 years ago because I thought I was getting too old. I am now going back through the basic course, mainly because the gear has changed so much that I'm not familiar with alot of it, and I can use the refresher on techniques.

I live in Central Florida (Kissimmee) and plan to do warm water diving -- mostly sightseeing. My wife is taking the course with me for her initial certification and we look forward to diving together.

I hope to learn a lot on this board and to "meet" fellow divers.

Thanks, Seadog. I apparently missed you rreply through ignorance of how the board works. I'll get it figfured out, though.

I came back to diving after 8 years off. Now, at 49, I plan to take Divemaster in the Philippines.

Have fun with your courses! See you on the board.

Jim
