Today I heard the following tip : One way to improve JPGs that need to be reduced in order to be uploaded is to increase (slightly) the sharpness.

ok I started a little webalbum on picasa, the quality is a bit better 
ill be adding pictures all the time, at least when I find the time to photoshop them first
