Baani Explorer Maldives

Hi everyone,

I will be going on the Baani Explorer ( maldivesliveaboard.com ) at the beginning of January for a 7 days LOB.

Any feedback with regards to the dive conditions in January? How about Baani Explorer, are they highly recommended?

Hi, Demonic_death,

We were on Baani Explorer in Nov '04. The boat was comfortable, the crew friendly and the DM was great! The only "problem" (for me) was that we had tuna every day for meals!

We'll be there for the Jan 22 trip and can't wait. We still need to get an underwater camera for the trip.

I will be coming in from Singapore, so it would be around 5 hours flight time for me.

Hmm...how much are you quoted for the trip? Am interested. Might hop on if there is vacancy for one or two if pricing is not too tight for me.

It was around USD 1260++ per person. But they charge in Euros, so you have to
factor in the conversion cost your card charges, if you pay in USD.

I got charged by my card for 3% more.
