Is this possible? I want to put a DIR style harness and backplate on it to reduce the amount of weight on the belt. Is the plastic to weak?

Any help would be appreciated.

David

Don"t know about the back-plate. You'll have to ask Sr. Defendi or someone who has an Azimuth. I dive the Inspiration. But you might try the DUI Weight and Trim II. It is really comfortable, works well with many diving styles and types of equipment, and gives you lots of options for both ditchable weight and trim positions.

You can add a standard backplate to the Azimuth - no problem. Just make sure that your bolts have a large diameter washer to add strength. Just thought you'd like to know.
