Autofocus is sometimes slow - how to deal with this?

Get a newer camera... The older oly's were right down there with Canon and nikon, in having slow, bad, contrast detect auto focus...

Sony and panasonic have always had much better implementations of CD AF.

The latest oly's - from the epl2 on, are finally really good CD AF.

Might be time to move up.
