Hheheee it's all so confusing...my favourite is still "Cockburn" here in Western Australia - you don't pronounce the 'ck'. I spent hours looking for "Coburn" when I first got here!

Thanks All, for your input. We are flying Virgin Blue between Cairns and Sydney, and biting the bullet with Qanta between Cairns and Ayers Rock. I will keep in mind the weight restrictions for Virgin Blue and keep my fingers crossed. -Pam
