IF you will be around watsons bay - you have a dive site on your doorstep - Camp Cove, Michael McFadyen's Scuba Diving Web Site

nothing to fly to sydney for but its a nice & easy shore dive, small reef & things to look for (nudies, octopus, big blue gropers) to about 12mtrs

but..... if you want the GNS you need to dive Magic Point/Marubra

you can ask the mad frenchmen (Scubaroos) if he is planning on diving them scubaroos.com.au

otherwise maybe Abyss, Boat Dive Sydney or Pro Dive, http://www.prodive.com.au/diveengin...s/2008/Quaterly Boat Schedules Jul-Sep 08.pdf

hubby dived it last weekend and he saw about 7 of them but Micheal Mcfayden says there were over 20 of them there

Ok well I will be diving in Sydney on 23rd August, don't know where yet but I will email the Scubaroos Shop to ask them about their charters and then the others if that shop isn't. My best friend who lives there has the weekend off work and will provide me with a lift to which ever dive site (and a place to stay :)). She lives in Bondi Junction so said that Marouba is close by if I end up going there. :bounce:

However, if anybody here is going to be diving on that day and wants a buddy, let me know :) Bit far away to plan for that though I guess... :)

Hey Guys, speaking of wreck dives ive just returned from Sunshine Coast where i dived on the Brisbane, vis wasnt great, but i tried out a camera i bought, for the first time. Im posting some pics, little disappointed , but practice, practice. 30metres on a sandy bottom, id recommend it.
A is a deck shot, B is "on the bog", C is "Shark over yonder"-a sawtooth apparently!(or a banjo?), D is me mugging for the camera, E is a nice vista, ahem!!
