I got a few dives in this week at Julian Rocks, Byron Bay. Vis has been excellent during the beginning of the week with up to 25m+ in some areas. Other areas it has cold dark 8m. Water temp 23c in the clear areas and 20-21c in the dark areas.
Heaps of life out and about. Found 3 Ghost pipe fish in one area (would be a great shot as they would be all in one frame), Mantis shrimps, heaps of Bull rays (must be mating season) with some huge ones with schools Cobia following them.
Unfortunately my housing is state side getting service before summer so no pictures.

Saw heaps of nudis, large stingray (3m or so, being followed around by a posse of fish), tonnes and tonnes of little stingrays, some pipefish, and lots of tiny little fish in a huge school. I also nearly got attacked by an octopus :shocked2: I stuck my head in a tire to have a look around and then this tentacle wrapped itself around my wrist and I looked up to see a fairly large octopus sneaking over the tire. Anyway, it really startled me and I lunged backwards 
The octopus looked freaked out too and it ran away and crawled up a pier pylon and then JUMPED to another one, looked awesome!
What a wuss ... only one dive ... from the sounds of things I wouldn't have got out of bed.
