We got two dives in today on Ningaloo. Despite almost perfect weather conditions on top a long low swell created a lot of surge on the bottom and stirred up a lot of sand. The first dive on Blizzard Ridge was particularly bad and it was actually like diving in a snow storm of sand at times. Water temperature was the usual mid-winter 23.5°C. Here's a few shots from the dives:

We got out for another dive today. After yesterday's difficult conditions we decided to dive inside Exmouth Gulf on Bundegi Reef. Normally the conditions here are dirty (as it is tidal inside the gulf) but we got lucky and had 20m visibility. The water temperature was a lot colder at 20.5°C. Here's a few shots from dive:

Seeing pictures now Gudge and they are spectacular as usual! I love the Dentist at work in the first set and the Nudi in the second... of course I would be thrilled to have taken any of the pics but those are my favorites!

Sas and Fish and I got a dive in on Saturday at Shelly Beach... gret to get wet again and the viz was amazing 15 M .. so nice to actually see stuff without bumping into it first!

I did Shelly on Saturday as well and like you said the viz was fantastic. Saw 3 PJ Sharks and a couple cuttlefish.

Did you go off the beach or off Bower Lane?

We went in at the boat ramp (beach) but i reckon we made it past bower lane!

Thats a bit of a healthy swim! I used to go off the boat ramp but never found much to see on the way. I usually just go off Bower Lane near the cafe then turn left.

I did Shark Point on Sunday and had a bit workout in the current We went the wrong way and burnt through the air quickly on the way back. I only had 18 bar by the time I got back to the pool. Was not a great feeling...
