well no diving for me this weekend... so what did you guys get up to this weekend???

Chores and parties! No diving sadly but I will be doing the Waikato on Wednesday...weather permitting of course!
I shot a wedding all day Saturday so no diving for me. Sunday we didn't go.
Our big boats went and the whale sharks were happy happy
The diving was lovely both in Lighthouse Bay and at the Muiron Islands, though the cleaning action in Lighthouse Bay has settled down a little bit. Another huge manta ray out at the Muirons having a bit of a clean. There's a very cool stonefish, a proper one, out there that I need to go look at - maybe later this week!

geez were a sorry lot... 
No kidding! But the week isn't over, the swell is dropping, I'm putting in a hard day today to try to clear my plate as much as possible...so cross fingers I'll get out in a few days.
I know I haven't even gone through the photos from my last dives yet...but I'll catch up eventually!

Haha I did not dive either... But yea, 4 dives planned for the weekend, two of them drift which will be fun (I have only done 1 of them before)

Wow looks like us Aussies weren't pulling our weight this weekend 
I too did not make it out into the ocean. Had my gear on the pool though if that counts?!
It was the first weekend of my dm course so had all the stamina skills to do.
100m tired diver tow: 2min 15s - 4 points (5s off 5 points
)
15min tread with hands out of the water last 2mins: completed - 5 points
400m swim: 7mins - 4 points
800m snorkel swim: 15min 30s - 4 points
TOTAL: 17/20
Is that a decent score? Or do most people get 20/20?
Seas were pretty rough here in Brisbane on Saturday and a lot of the boats didn't make it out. A sad weekend for the Aussies :crying2:
