Hey everyone!

I just got my first strobe (YAY!) for my G10 with the Canon housing. Its an INON z240. Ive also got the optical cable that they sell with it, but theres no way to attach it to the housing....

I cant get a "strobe mask kit" due to time and money- I leave on vacation TOMORROW night!

Now, i KNOW there is someone out there who has rigged up a cheap DIY fix to this problem. I bought myself some velcro, and im trying to figure out how to attach this mess without ruining my housing.

Should I use rubber, or plastic to block the flash?
How should I attach the velcro to the housing?

These are but a few of the questions i have....

If anyone out there has an answer, PLEASE! Help a brother out?

Thanks!
