Good evening -

How do I attach these two devices?

The Bigblue light has a 1" Ball, while the Sea & Sea arm balls are about 3/4" - the clamp that the Sea&Sea comes with isn't really large enough to clamp 1", and also doesn't seem to be able to handle the size difference - has anyone found an adapter?

thanks!

I think your best bet is to get an arm that uses the bigger size (ULCS or from Optical Ocean). Many versions are available but unless you want to cut and drill and hack around, I don't know of any good source for just the ball for S&S.

The question is where to attach the ball head. The ball head in the big blue ad is 1 inch. How to attach that to the S&S arm was the question. You can get a hot shoe ball in S&S size but how to attach that to the big blue light is still a question.
