As a permanent beard/mustache wearer I've heard good things about the Atomic Venom, but I'm confused about the "frameless" vs normal... plus the price difference. Can anyone shed some light on what the difference is?

I have never used the framed version but I do have the Venom frameless. I'm also bearded and the Venom and the classic Scubapro Frameless are my go-to masks. I really like the gummy bear silicone on the Venom. Makes for a nice seal.

As the venom skirt is so soft it collapses and deforms breaking the seal on my face the subframe not so much

Also, there is not enough skirt below the nose of either to provide an adequate seal, when you are looking up

I had this exact same problem and will have to trade mine.
