Hey all,

Included in the paperwork with my new Atomic Z2 was a little slip that says something like:

"This regulator is considered an upstream regulator. This means that the 2nd stage is not closed unless under pressure. Therefore to ensure water does not seep into the first or second stage, the regulator must be hooked up to a tank when being rinsed or soaked."

I didn't think to much of this until I was in Cozumel this week and discovered that it is virtually impossible to rinse my reg under pressure. This is a complete pain in the @#$!! Is there a way around this? Has anyone had a problem with this issue (Atomic, Poseidon or otherwise)? Anyone want to buy a relatively new Z2 with 9 dives on it?

Many thanks!

Okay, maybe I should rephrase my question.

If anyone has an upstream regulator, do you worry about not rinsing it under pressure, and if not, have you had any issues with this?

Thanks! :D
