First of all:
This problem is being reported to Atomic via the authorized dealer from which I bought the regulator. This thread is just to give others a notice to check theirs.
Next:
The Problem is a missing washer between the sintered metal filter and the captive O ring in the first stage of a M1 DIN regulator. Apparently this washer was omitted during manufacture.
Result is a regulator that would leak when used with a Yoke Adaptor and sometimes when used without the Yoke Adaptor.
So, if you have this regulator prudence would indicate you should check yours.
I have two of these regulators. One had the problem. The other did not. So, I am assuming this is just one of those human error things and not a pervasive problem.
