I just finished reading the thread on nitrox and regs, and that brought up a question. I know the Atomic T1 is not to be used with nitrox, but what about the Z1? Also, does the titanium in the second stage react with nitrox (above 40%)?

Don't want to open up another can of worms...but I'm really curious.

I've been using B1s/Z1s with EAN <40% for some time now
and have not yet been engulfed in flames.

Cripes, I have a Z1 that's been exposed to 80% and I am
still flame free (but it did NOT have an Atomic second stage
on it)

The Z1 should be fine with Nitrox. I can imagine why it wouldn't. I have a B1/T2 and it's nitrox ready.

Thanks guys! I wasn't sure about that one.

I use a B1/Ti2 as well, all the way up to 40%. No problems.

Haven't heard that about the Ti1, though -- that it's not nitrox-ready, I mean. That's interesting, considering the B1s are, and apparently the Z1s are, too.
