Ok, so what's the difference between the Atomic B2 and B2 octo besides the color kit and the almost $300 price difference? This was copied from the Atomic website:

"B2 Octo with Comfort Swivel
The B2 octopus is easily the most comfortable and easy to use safe second ever designed with all-Titanium construction for corrosion protection and light weight. The B2 Octo delivers all the patented Atomic features of the B2 primary model, including the Comfort Swivel as standard. The Comfort Swivel is the perfect design aspect for a safe second."

So for the price of a B2 octo and a color kit, would this be a B2 at a fraction of the price? Even if it was a little different, why couldn't it be used as a primary reg?

The B2 regulator is a B2 1st stage and a B2 2nd stage with comfort swivel.

The B2 Octo is just a B2 2nd stage with comfort swivel and a yellow color kit. It breathes exactly like every other AA 2nd stage, but it doesn't have a first stage.

Damn. How could I forget the 1st stage?
Well I hope this post disappears quickly into the abyss of dead threads.
