I have a set of Atomic regs that are only a few months old and have about 20 dives on them. On a recent dive I noticed that my primary second stage seemed to stutter a bit on inhale. Instead of giving a smooth flow of air it seemed to stop and start again. There didn't really seem to be any noticable reistance due to this but I could tell it was happening. I tried my other second stage and it didn't do this. I never noticed this on previous dives.

Anyone know what could be causing this?

check the IP with a gauge. If its a little low it may cause a stutter. Try turning up the IP another 10psi. If that doesn't help or if you have no idea what I'm suggesting, then take it back to the store to get looked at.

Thanks for the advice. I unfortunatly don't have an IP gauge yet, may just have to make a run to the hardware store and put one together. I will most likely end up taking it into the LDS since it should still be under warranty, but was curious as to what the problem could be. I guess it could also have to do with the way the second stage is adjusted since the other one doesn't do it on the same first.
