Bohol Itinerary – ‘Happy Halloween’
We enjoyed another week in the Philippines with the water temperatures staying around 84F degrees, along with calm seas and the chance to bask in beautiful sunny skies. The charter trip this week began with an early morning snorkeling adventure to interact with the whale sharks at Oslob. This is such an amazing experience. Then off we went to explore the walls and coral gardens of nearby Sumilon Island, which by the way is one of the first marine preserves established in the Philippines.

Then down to Cabilao Island we cruised to splash in amongst its scattered coral gardens, while viewing the sea fans covering the wall and the reef fish that seemed to be everywhere. A small group then opted for ‘terra firma’ and the Bohol land tour to visit the tiny tarsier primates and view the majestic Chocolate Hills, while the rest of the divers carried on underwater exploring the mini wall that runs the entire length of the coastline at Cabilao.

We then headed to the ‘postcard picture perfect’ island of Balicasag. The spectacular array of sites again provided two full days of spectacular diving.

Siquijor Island was our final diving spot this week, then back to the Atlantis Resort at Dumaguete we cruised for everyone to enjoy some Halloween dress up fun!

Thank you to all our guests this week for sharing this wonderful adventure with us.
