If it's your first trip to Curacao - the Marriott would be a good choice of lodging.
The Hilton (which is right beside it - is pretty much a dump)
You could look into using The Dive Bus as your dive operator for the east end of the island.
Ocean Frontiers has a dive shop on the Hilton property (so it would be close)
Food was more expensive than we expected it to be on Curacao. But when we were there their currency was based on the Euro and exchange rates were UGH!!!!! Don't know if that is still the case.
