Hi I am new to the board.
I have been to Aruba 5 times before my last visit that ended last weekend. This last visit I decided to try Jads for diving there. I have dived with several other operations on the island which I will not comment on.

I have been diving over 15 years and have over 100 dives (stopped counting awhile ago) and I don't have a regular dive buddy. I can't stand big dive boats full of divers. What I do like is personal service and professional divers who know the terrain.

The guys at Jads are real locals that really know their stuff. For me if I was running a dive operation it would be exactly like they do. Everyone from the divemasters to the bus driver are very cool and very real people. I wont dive with anyone else when I go back in 2 years.

Delaney.

What about the diving................been to Bonaire and loved it, how would it compare?
Thanks

I'll be there next month. My 12th visit but only my second as a diver. I got certified via a referral from Unique but heard great things about JADs. Also I've driven by their shop many times... Maybe I'll check them out this year.

There are only a few dives in Aruba that will compare to Bonaire and if you are skilled and fit enough, Jads will take you there. Since Jads operates from the south side of the Island, even if you take boat dives with them, there wont be other boats on your site.

Most of the common dive sites on the northwest side are so dived that even in slow season you will see 2 or more boats on a single site. (not my idea of fun).

Make no mistake visibility is always tremendous, 75ft or more, but Aruba is not Bonaire when it comes to the normal site dives on the Nothwest side.
