I will be going to Aruba in april 3 to the 10th. Can anyone give me advice on cheap rooms and diving. I guess we will do mostly shore diving but would like to do some boat dives.. Is there anything to do topside? We are 2 single guys looking for some nitelife. thanks in advance...

I was there last April during a cruise. I took a 2 tank dive on the Antola and Pendernalas wrecks. I had a rental BC fail on the first dive but was able to safely abort the dive. They got me another BC for the second dive and had a enjoyable second dive. Plenty of life on the wrecks, blue water and got some great photos.
I would suggest your own gear if possible. To much use on older rental gear there. There are a number of wrecks around the island but you'll need a boat.
I didn't get to see about nightlife there but from following the Natalie Holloway story it seems there are clubs and casinos.

Hi cruch 35,

their are a couple of cool shore dives around, mostly on the south coast.
Depending on your experience I can give you some suggestions, if you want.

If you want to see reefs, these can be done from the shore.
To dive the wrecks, you will need a boat ride.

Scuba Shore Diving Site Listing for: Aruba, ABC Islands

I dove Puerto Chiquito years ago, and loved it. I also hear good things about Mango Halto reef.

Plenty of shore diving to keep you interested, just beware of leaving anything in your car, or even locking it with the windows up.
