My wife and I went to Aruba for the first time last month and dove three mornings, 6 dives. We followed numerous threads suggesting Dive Aruba, rated very high both here and on trip advisor. Well, the internet works, and we had a great experience. Dive with Clive and his son was great, well operated, well organized. Would certainly recommend them, and would dive with them again. This is NOT a cattle call, small boat with 6 divers. Very professional group though, they know the reef, the dive sights, and how to dive. We have all of our own equipment so we did not rent any of theirs so we cannot comment on rentals. The Aruba dives were much better than led to believe based on reviews however. The soft corals were doing well, some of the hard coral was bleached out from warm water, but the reefs were in good condition. The wrecks were fantastic, both the Antilla and Jane Sea wreck were above expectations. The light effects on the Antilla reminded me of Cathedrals II in Hawaii. The water was about 78 degrees for the dives, so if you get cold easy take that into account. We dove with 0.5s and were a bit cold on the second dives. We used and Ikelight surround for a panasonic TS3 for photographs for the first time. It didn't leak, but fogged badly and desiccant was not available on the Island. If you want to use a similar setup, bring desiccant packs from home.
Overall, great trip and experiences.
