The weather was very atypical... only 2 or 3 truly nice, sunny days. Palm Beach was downright nasty Wednesday and Thursday. And heavy thunderstorms during many of the nights
I chose Pelican since I had used them before.. I actually tried to book with unique sports but couldn't get reservations.
All dives were pretty much cancelled Tuesday-Thursday and I was generally unsatisfied with Pelican. In fact, I probably will not dive with them again. They were very unreliable with their hotel pickups I had to take cabs a couple of times they generally seemed very disorganized and unprofessional (surprising to me since I didnt notice this the last time I dove with them). But to be fair, I know some of this had to do with the weather and they had to move their boats from Pelican Pier to the Harbor - I know it was inconvenient for them, its a pain for us paying divers as well . but they were pretty good on the boat and underwater. Highest ratio was 9 divers to 1 DM.
Harbour Reef and Sponge Reef were both average dives with about 30 50 ft vis. Saw lots of Green moray eels at Harbour.
The Jane Sea was incredible very glad I dove it, especially since we couldnt dive the Antilla (my all-time favorite dive). The vis was about 50 ft the day we dove it. Thanks to those on this board that recommended it.
Sonesta was also pretty cool swimming through the plane was one of my single most favorite dive experiences. Again, about 50 ft vis. Saw my first octopus at the Sonesta (I think).
All in all, decent... wish the weather had been better but that's life.
