That was a fun tour and a fun day at PADI HQ. I can't say just how impressed I was with the overall organization and with their culture of FUN, FUN, FUN! PADI has it's detractors, and I always wonder if it has more to do with jealousy at their success than with actual problems with them. After all, many in our industry have the attitude that if you don't dive it, sell it or teach it, it MUST be crap. With over 3,200 certs going out every day, I think PADI better stands for "Put Another DIVER In". I even heard a NAUI course director say that after you get to know them, you just can't hate them anymore.
