Around the world SCUBA trip 2009

Hello,

I live in Denver, CO, but next year I'll be visiting Australia to see family. I thought I might just get an around the world trip & visit the distant SCUBA locations I've been dreaming about.

I'm looking for less-expensive but safe diving destinations & would like to visit the Red Sea as well as South Pacific (& of course the Great Barrier).

Any recommendations are greatly appreciated!
