I saw a TV documentary last night on a scientific expedition through the Canadian Arctic. It was the 5 month voyage of the Sedna ship with 15 crew. At one stop, the crew came across Inuit (Eskimo) scuba divers in full dry suits. These northern scuba divers were catching starfish which they eat raw. Was quite interesting.
