Does anyone use or have any info on the Aquatec BC-003 X-Wing BCD?

Hm... they don't seem to have an actual metal plate component attached. What are you looking for in a bc system?

It seems huge (48 lbs wing); for single tank diving, even with a steel tank, it is probably unnecessarily big - can you attach doubles to it?

I was at the LDS checking out a Dive Rite Transpac with Trek wings. They had the Aquatec which was similar. I have tried jacket style BC's, don't care for them and the two back inflate type I have tried, Aqualung Malibu and Seaquest Black Diamond are to bulky. My kids have decided I need to upgrade some of my equipment so I don't embarrass them anymore with my ancient gear, I use a horse collar type.

Yes, it comes with a double tank adapter.
