Ok, I'm jazzed. I just got an email from the Dive Safety Officer at the AOP. I'm in. Now I have to go get a physical and attend the training, but I'M IN! This is going to be SO COOL!

I am trying to be my most charming and get that volunteer job at the NJ State Aquarium as a diver, I am just MADE for that kind of job.![]()
Hearing your enthusiasm about it, Seahunt, makes me that much more anxious to hear back from them. :hyper:
I think I can handle that. Please note that divers must make a minimum commitment of 1 year. Applicants to the volunteer dive program must meet the following requirements:
be at least 18 years old, be able to volunteer 2 days a month, 8 hours each day (9a-5p), show proof of a least 25 logged dives; 5 in the past 2 years and 2 within the last 12 months, pass written and pool tests; be interviewed by NJSA staff, have current CPR and First Aid Certifications, Successfully pass a medical evaluation
If an applicant is selected to undergo training for the Program, they must pass a diving medical evaluation by a licensed physician before diving. The cost of the evaluation is provided by the applicant.
