Aqualung Legend Parts Backorder???

I took my lds 3 Legend ACD regs almost 2 months ago now to be serviced and I am being told that they are not finished yet due to Aqualung not shipping parts and being in some sort of severe backorder?!?!

Has anyone else experienced this or should I pic-up my regs and take them elsewhere? I think that waiting all summer for my regs to have their yearly service is crazy.

.....you might want to call a couple of other Aqualung dealers in your area to confirm that before getting too upset at your present dealer.

Take them somewhere else, more than 10 days is to long to wait for service.

I use a lot of Aqua Lung parts and for the last six month or perhaps year I have ran into a lot of backorders. I don’t know what is going on with Aqua Lung, but so far they have eventually delivered all the parts…some took over two or three months.

That being said some of the parts I am referring are not common replacement parts, such as yokes, yoke screws, environmental kits, etc.

I have confirmed the back others with more than one dealer. The dealer I work with the most does a fairly large volume of AL business.

You could call other dealers to see if they may have the parts in stock. Many good dealers will stock a large inventory of parts.

As a minimum, I hope your dealer has loaned you a regulator to hold you over.

Thanks for the suggestions and info....the dealer did not offer to loan me a reg, but i think i will ask if i do not get this resolved this week.

I never thought when i dropped my regs off in May that I would be concerned about not getting them back for my August trip to mexico....
