Last year I added the Legend to my gear collection. I was currently using a Sherwood Maximus and consistantly adjusted the second stage toward the "harder" side of cracking pressure. Just seems more comfortable to me. After reading about the Legend and wanting another reg, it looked like a good choice. I do love having an ajustable second stage.

After 60+ dives on my Legend, I've noticed it does not have the ability of the Maximus to back off on the flow at the second stage. I also feel at the end of the dive when I come to the shallows, it almost seems to be on the verge of free flow no matter how far I close off the adjustment knob.

I was wondering if any folks out there have noticed this? My LDS has checked the reg out and found nothing wrong. I suspect I'm diving with a reg that wants to perform better than I want it to, or that I'm used to.
