Aqualung Legend LX- Any Negatives?

About to pull the trigger to buy and take to Maui with me next week.
If anybody has any negatives (other than the price) now would be a great time for me to know.

I have a couple hundred dives on mine after using a SP Mk25/A600 for a few years. My only complaint is that it breaths very dry. Other than that- no issues at all.

First new regulator in 10 years, I am a big fan...had mine for about 30 dives now.

Had mine for over 6 years and over 2000 dives- gotta love the reg.
The comfo-bite mouthpiece is great. I'ce chewed through a few and now have a JAX but I like the comfo-bite a lot. The second stage breathes well inverted or upside down which was important for me when I bought it (and still is- I like looking under tight ledges and for photography sometimes there's no better position.

One negative that I changed was to swap the hoses around so that the first stage turret is pointed down- I found I could hit my head in the old position which was annoying- anyway a quick fix.

There are easier regs to self-service but it's not too bad if you have the right tools. At the moment I don't, so it's a right PITA.

It is pricey but you pay it only once, for a lifetime reg. There is no reason to ever get a new reg if you look after this one.

Which do you prefer?

The SP was a bit wet if I was inverted (also a big fan of looking in the rocks and under ledges here in So Cal). But the AL is dry to me. Both breath great at depth, have worked flawlessly, and have never needed any real maintenance. I dive the AL most of the time because my LDS is an AL shop. No other reason. Its a coin flip for which is "best".

Love the Auga Lung legend, 300 plus dives with issues, easy breathing at depth. Finally talked my wife into the new model this year, After her Micron, she loves it.

I've had 2 Legend LX's and currently have a new Legend Lux. All were/superb breathers. I lkie to have my cracking pressure opened up slightly for less breathing resistance. The factory ships them a little tighter. I push them pretty hard with high filled 3500 psi tanks usually filled above that.

I own two of these, Great regulators. If I was forced to say something negative about them I would have to say they are a little on the heavy side. but otherwise I have no complaints.
